26/09/2005   PeterStar Opening Internet Center in Pulkovo-2

ZAO PeterStar is arranging the first Internet Center in the International Airport “Pulkovo-2”.

Decision on introducing a new service and selecting a professional operator was made by the Airline “Pulkovo-2” in August 2005. The project is planned to be launched in December this year.

One of the key advantages of the new Internet Center is a high Internet access speed. The service will be arranged based on highly productive fiber lines up to 10 Mbps in capacity. The new Internet Center will be available round the clock. The PeterStar Company provides its design and equipment. Safety of workstations is ensured by hardened glass, as well as lacking sharp corners. It’s planned in future to extend the range of Internet services and include additional features of service center such as faxing, scanning, printing and xeroxing.

At present a Wi-Fi wireless Internet access zone is available on the territory of the Airports “Pulkovo-1” and “Pulkovo-2”, arranged by the PeterStar Company as well. When the Internet Center is opened, passengers of the international airport will be able to choose the most comfortable way of working in the Internet.
