In connection with the fact that the PeterStar client base increased more than 25% at the end of 2005, in January the Company went to the increase of the modem pool capacity for accessing the Internet from 3,500 to 4,800 incoming lines. This April PeterStar additionally put into operation 420 lines more. Thus, at the moment PeterStar has available the largest Internet node among the alternative communication operators of Saint Petersburg with the modem pool capacity exceeding 5.200 lines.

The PeterStar modem pool is built on the Cisco 5350 equipment. In order to expand it the Company additionally purchased and installed 7 servers. The renewed modem pool will allow the users of PeterStar Internet cards to establish Internet connections quickly and from the first even during the busiest hours.

PeterStar will continue expanding the modem pool during 2005 as its load grows.
