20/12/2005 ZAO PeterStar Admitted Best Russian Enterprise in 2005
The Russian Businessmen and Entrepreneurs Union and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by the RF Government, have summed up the IX All-Russian Competition “Best Russian Enterprises”. ZAO PeterStar became a winner in the nomination “For High Financial Efficiency” in the field of Communications.
The competition “Best Russian Enterprises” has been conducted for 9 years and is one of the most authoritative expert projects of modern Russia. Competitive selection is based on the method of integrated assessment of an enterprise’s economic condition, developed by the RSPP Expert Institute (ECSIN rating), considering the analysis of financial and economic figures submitted to the Federal Service of National Statistics.
The competition involves enterprises of eleven basic industries. About 5000 enterprises of all regions of Russia were included in the initial selection, i.e. over 80% of the country’s industrial potential. More than 500 companies were nominated for awards. 93 enterprises of 42 sites of the Russian Federation became winners and laureates of the competition.
In 2005 the following companies were admitted enterprises-leaders: OAO Russian Bread, OAO Cherepovetski Azot, OOO Company Splav, OAO Volgodonski Wallboard Industrial Complex, OAO Stoilenski Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise, OAO Yaroslavski Electric Machine Works.
ZAO PeterStar became a winner in the nomination “For High Financial Efficiency” in the field of Communications. At the awards ceremony on December 15 the General Director of ZAO PeterStar Victor Koresh was presented with a bronze statuette “Catherine the Great” – symbol of industry and free trade support in Russia.
“Victory in the competition “Best Russian Enterprises” means recognition of PeterStar’s activities; it is an indicator confirming that the company is not only of benefit for its shareholders but also contributes to the development of economy of Russia on the whole.” – says Victor Koresh.
