Solemn ceremony took place in Moscow devoted to rewording winners of the VII All-Russian Contest “The Best Russian Enterprises” organized by the Russian Guild of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs (RGME), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia and the Advisory RGME Institute, supported by the RF Government. ZAO PeterSar became the Contest laureate.

The contest “The Best Russian Enterprises” is the oldest and one of the most authoritative advisory projects of modern Russia. It is aimed at identifying business patterns which financial and economic experience could be a reference for Russian manufacturers and entrepreneurs. High reputation of the contest is supported by the fact that, in contrast to many other similar commercial projects, this one remains free for all its participants, and its procedure prevents any garbling or biased sampling. The contest is based on information contained in official accounts an enterprise submits to the State Standards Committee, taking into account the superfine nuances of the participant ’s economic activity. The fact that out of tens of thousands of participants undergoing the contest’s examination, not more than one hundred of the most efficient enterprises reach the rewording ceremony indicates the severity of the contest’s scoring system.

Based on the results of the contest, this year OAO Severstal, OAO Brewery “Baltica”, Furniture Company “Shatura”, RAO EES of Russia, OAO Lukoil have been recognized as the best enterprises. ZAO PeterStar, one of the largest communication operators in St. Petersburg and the Northwest region of Russia, became the laureate in the nomination “For Highest Financial Efficiency”. PeterStar serves approx. 100 thousand telephone lines and takes first place in the provision of telecommunication services to corporate customers. The company’s fiber network is the longest in St. Petersburg, and its wireless communication fully covers the territory of the city and its suburbs, as well as the largest settlement in the Leningrad Oblast. The company possesses a full set of up-to-date technologies to settle any business tasks at optimal prices. The title “The Best Russian Enterprise” is, in a way, a certificate of quality confirming a high effectiveness of the enterprise. Having been rewarded this title, the company’s investment attractiveness distinctly increases in the opinion of its Russian and foreign partners.
