providing a connection with the organization of a local virtual network. (Moreover,
these two options can be combined.) The provision of a dedicated channel enables
the following:
- Reduction of expenses for traffic between a local network and the server.
For instance, a Web studio updating the server on a regular basis.
- Large companies with offices interconnected by a Frame Relay network are
able to use the server in the DataCenter as exchange, a well as a similar control,
mail and docflow server.

Another connection option consists of the following components:
- Co-location service provision with the provision of Internet access,
as well as allocating an additional port on the PeterStar DataCenter node
for VC organization.
- Dedicated “Customer Server - Customer Network” channel organization via the
PeterStar data network.
- Access organization to the PeterStar data network:
- For VC organization up to the server located in the DataCenter.
- For Internet access.
Pricing
Cost of services under this connection type is formed of the following:
- Connection charge and rental for co-locating the server in the PeterStar
DataCenter, considering the cost of providing an additional port.
- Cost of organization and rental for the provision of a dedicated “point-to-point”
channel at a set speed.
- Cost of a dedicated channel to the Frame Relay data network.
When a dedicated channel is organized, traffic transited over this channel
is left out of account. Traffic to access the Internet for both the server
in the DataCenter and the customer network is calculated according to the standard
scheme.
