EoF
The EoF (Ethernet over Fiber) service is a 10/100 Mbps digital dedicated
channel arranged up to the customer’s. The channel is organized over fiber-optics
cable only.
Main channel characteristics:
Channel organization over fiber-optics cable only;
Total capacity per node makes 100 Mbps in case of connection over Ethernet
and 155 Mbps if the node is connected over a copper pair;
Maximum number of customers – 28 or 48, depending on the equipment installed
on the node (Catalyst 29xx, 35xx);
Subscriber terminal’s capacity – up to 10 Mbps;
Maximum distance to a subscriber line – 11 km;
Interface on the subscriber side - Ethernet 10/100Base-T
