Netscape Communicator Settings
Start the program Netscape Communicator. In the menu “Edit” enter the item “Preferences...”; the Nåtscape settings window will open.
Double click on the item “Advanced” to open its content, and select the section “Proxies”; put a spot on the right of “Manual proxy configuration” and press the button "View..."
Specify in the line “HTTP” as a proxy server address proxy.peterstar.net, port – 3128. Specify the same in the line “FTP”. Leave all other fields blank. Press the button “OK”.
The proxy server is set. Now you may set the start page. At this point you may specify the Web server from which you want to start your work.
In the window “Preferences” select the item “Navigator”. In the section “Navigator starts with” put a spot to the right of “Home page”, and below in the section “Home page” specify the address in the line “Location:” from which your work will be starting. Select the position “Blank page” if you want to start with a bank page, and the position “Last page visited” if you want to start with the page you visited during the previous session.
Now close the window “Preferences” by pressing the button “OK”. Your Netscape Navigator is set and ready for operation.
