Recommendations on Internet Explorer Program Settings
On the task panel press the button “Start”. In the pop-up menu select the item “Settings” and left click on “Control Panel”.
In “Control Panel” double click on the label “Internet” to open its content.
In the appeared window “Properties: Internet” go to the bookmark “Connection”. Tick off the item “Connect to Internet via Proxy Server” and press the button “Additionally…”
In the line “HTTP” enter proxy.peterstar.net, port - 3128 and tick off “One Proxy Server for All Protocols”. Go back to the window “Properties: Internet” by pressing the button “OK” to close the section “Proxy Server Parameters”.
Proxy server settings are installed. Then you can set the start page by specifying the Web server you want to start your work with.
In the window “Properties: Internet” go to the bookmark “Common”. In the section “Homepage” specify the address in the line “Address” from which your work will start.
Now you may close the window “Properties: Internet” by pressing the button “OK”. Your Internet Explorer is set and ready for operation.
