To Contract
On Provision of Prepaid Internet Dial-up Access Services
Service “Calls via Multicard”
1. Service Description
Subscriber is given a possibility to access the Telematics Department’s service
on transmitting voice messages, using which Subscriber is able to make calls
to any other telephone network subscriber in any city of the world. This service
is available only for subscribers – physical persons.
Voice message transmission is carried out via channels of the global Network.
To provide the service “Telephony” the Provider supports in St. Petersburg:
- multi-channel hunt group number to access the telematics service node: 324-6262;
- user statistics page, on which Subscriber, having entered the Card Number
and PIN Code in the relevant fields, accesses the personal account and connection
statistics;
- round-the-clock technical support service at phone 324-0277.
Access to the service “Calls via Multicard” is not available from other
cities.
2. Service Registration Conditions
Registration of the service “Calls via Multicard” takes place automatically
at the first successful attempt of authorization at the Provider’s telematics
node. The service “Calls via Multicard” can be provided for Subscriber as a
separate service, or as an additional one to the existing connection for Internet
dial-up access.
2.1. When using the service “Telephony” as a separate one, a unique personal
account is being formed for Subscriber of the service “Calls via Multicatd”
associated with the Universal Card Number. An amount equal to the nominal value
of the Universal Card activated is entered in this account.
2.2. When using the service “Calls via Multicard” as an additional to the
existing connection for Internet dial-up access, a connection is being created
on the personal account to access the service “Calls via Multicard”. In this
case all calls via the Multicard and Internet connections will be charged to
one and the same account, to which Subscribr will activate his Universal Cards.
3. Service Access Procedure
Subscriber dials on his telephone (including a cellular one) number 324-6262;
in case of using pulse dialing Subscriber switches the telephone over to tone
dialing and proceeds with using tone dialing. Following the voice menu prompts
Subscriber enters in one word the Card Number and PIN Code of the Internet
card and then presses «#». Thereafter Subscriber enters in one word the number
of the called subscriber in the following format:
- for calls in St. Petersburg: 8812 + subscriber number;
- for calls in the Leningrad Oblast: 881 + city code + subscriber number;
- for national calls: 8 + city code + subscriber number;
- for international calls: 810 + country code + city code + subscriber number,
and enters «#» in the end.
Subscriber may continue dialing without waiting for the end of any voice prompt.
While dialing, Subscriber is given information on the amount of money on the
account and the maximum possible duration of the call. The maximum connection
time is calculated depending on the destination, tariff and Subscriber’s personal
account balance. On the expiry of the calculated period the connection is forcedly
disconnected by 30 seconds notice.
4. Settlement Procedure
The service “Calls via Multicard” is provided only in case of positive balance
on the Subscriber personal account. The personal account of Subscriber for
this service is of a permanent nature and associated with the main personal
account of Subscriber used for obtaining other services of the Provider. Money
is charged off from the Subscriber personal account at the moment of accomplishing
the connection pro rata its duration and in accordance with the Provider’s
tariffs in effect. The personal account can be replenished from the statistics
page located on the site www.peterstar.ru. The account having been zeroed,
make active a new card not used before, i.e. replenish the existing personal
account.
5. No Guarantee
5.1. The Provider makes every effort for providing Subscriber with quality
and uninterrupted service. No advice and information forwarded to Subscriber
by the Provider can be deemed a guarantee.
5.2. The Provider bears no responsibility for impossibility to serve Subscriber
for any reason, including communication line failure, equipment malfunction,
default of providers of that or this service etc.
5.3. If Subscriber is not satisfied with the conditions or quality of the
services rendered, his only and sole right will be to refuse using the Service.
