How can I reigster?
Answer:
To register, you need to buy a payment card of any nominal value. Connect
to the Internet under the guest login and go to the section Registration of New
User. Read the contract and
tariffs for
our services, enter the card number and PIN code, and choose the tariff you want
to work under. After that, your login
and password will be automatically registered, and you should write them down
for connecting later on.
Question:
Where do I have to go to register?
Answer:
Nowhere. You can register on our server using the guest login only.
Registration can be done on the server http://www.peterstar.ru in the section Registration
of New User.
Question:
What is the guest login and how can I use it?
Answer:
The guest login is used for registering new users, as well as obtaining reference information and checking your statistics (if for some reason you did not log in using your registered data). Use the following for the guest login:
- Login, user name – star
- Password – peterstar
- Modem access number – 320-3370
If you connect the Internet via a proxy server, disconnect it when connecting
using the guest login.
Please note that, having logged on using the login star and password peterstar, you can access only our pages at http://www.peterstar.ru.
Question: I got through the registration procedure but forgot to write down the login/password. How can I get this information?
Answer:
If you use an IP Visa card, it’s rather easy. You need to connect using
the guest login, go to the Account Management section of www.peterstar.ru, and enter your card number as the login and PIN code as the password. On
the statistics page that comes up, click on Internet (bottom left). At the
top, you will see your login (of the type ps*****). Write it down! By clicking
on the Change Password button, you will get a new password. Write it down
as well. Now you can establish a new connection with this login and password.
