Viktor Koresh was born in 1953. In 1976, he graduated from the M.A. Bonch-Bruevich Leningrad Electrical Institute of Communications, and qualified as a telecommunications engineer. He held key posts in telecommunications companies such as Sovintel (general director of the Petersburg branch from 1997 through 2001), Baltic Communications Limited (general director from 1994 through 1997), Leningrad Telegraph (general director from 1986 from 1994). Before 1986, he gained 10 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry.
Since 2001, he has been general director of PeterStar.
He is a full member of the International Academy of Communications.

Born on May 28, 1963 in Gomel (Byelorussia). In 1985 graduated with honors and a golden medal from the Military Engineering Institute, holding the Order of the Red Banner, named after A.F. Mozhisky as a military radio engineer. In 1987-1991 attended the full-time postgraduate study attached to the Military Space Engineering Academy, holding the Order of the Red Banner, named after A.F. Mozhisky. From 1987 to 1995 served in the USSR and RF Army. His military rank is a major in the reserve. In 1995 started his work for ZAO Metrocom, St. Petersburg. Worked for Metrocom until 2005 holding a post of leading marketing specialist, project manager, deputy director on marketing and business development. From February 1, 2005 and until recently held a post of commercial director of ZAO Comet, Moscow. From September 2005 is the Deputy General Director of ZAO PeterStar.
